Research is a feature in Learn to Fly Idle that lets the player purchase various special perks and upgrades.
Upgrades can be bought with Research Points, which are added automatically after a certain short period of time. They can also be earned for unlocking in-game achievements.

Trivia[]
- The maximum level of Research upgrades is level 10. However, in the Kongregate version, further upgrades are possible, up to level 100.
- An achievement can be unlocked for getting all five Research upgrades to level 10.
